So often I am motivated to write a review after a disappointing dinner.. and in Toronto sadly that happens often.
However in this case its to recommend a wonderful new restaurant thats hit the east end - Skin and Bones.... brilliant.
Decor: dark walls, exposed brick, exposed beams, warm wood tables and floors...
Staff: friendly, professional, attentive
Food: Our table tried 3 different mains, the calamari, chicken tails and others had the steak tar tar and all were wonderful. Each of us had a main course - everyone loved their meals... as well as the amuse bouche they brought by the table before the mains.
finally the cheese plate at the end... tiniest portion imaginable but worth it. and the homemade mini doughnuts.. normally i am more of a more booze than dessert kinda gal, but they served fresh, warm and were literally irresistible.
The wine list is a little pricey but our server suggested a bottle in the $60 range which i am desperately trying to find at an LCBO.... delicious.
Such a great evening - from start to finish!
