We haven't had that much at Nostalgia yet. The croissant was pretty good. The Croque Monsieur was just okay. It has a more refined atmosphere than du Cafe. It'd be good for business whereas du Cafe would be better for hanging with friends.
I think it's a little early to start critiquing either place. They're new(ish), small, and both appear to be first time business owners. I'm sure they both need time to develop themselves. It wouldn't have been right to say nothing at all though. People on my side of the DVP are hungry for good places to go. Either would be a good alternative to the Tim's/Starbucks stranglehold.
