buttertartz, thanks so much for the rec! I tried out Bapbo a couple days ago after work. It is probably the best stone bowl I've had in terms of getting the bowl heated to create a really nice caramelized rice layer along the entire bowl. I couldn't stop exclaiming how GOOD it was while I was eating it and I dreamed about it later at night. It came out popping and crackling to the table and was still crackling when I added the sauce and mixed it around 15 mins later.I also wonder why in the world they would do a hard boiled egg. It seems like such a little thing, but it really detracts from the dish as a whole. I ordered the lobster version out of curiosity - it came with two large lobster tempura sitting on top. The veggies in the bowl are carrots, greens, cabbage and bean sprouts. I wish they had mushrooms in the bowl. The banchan was pretty weak. Service was great.
