Just wanted to bring this great bakery to others' attention. I posted asking where to get a great chocolate cake, and someone recommended Andrea's Gerrard Street Bakery. I live relatively close by, and picked up an $8 cake. Big enough for four, but perfect for two with leftovers. And just cute as anything. Plus it was dense, moist, and perfect! We also picked up a mini coconut cream pie that was divine. More like a thick coconut mousse atop a graham cracker crust. Scones are excellent, too. She's got some yummy sandwiches and empanadas, too - we left with a couple of vegetarian empanadas in hand for a quick breakfast on the road.
