Everest Indian Cuisine just reopened this week as Everest Hakka House. It doesn't have a take-out menu yet, but has a small lunch menu, and a very extensive dinner menu. I have to admit I know nothing about Hakka food, but I stopped in for lunch for a huge plate of 'Mixed Hakka Noodles' with egg/shrimp/chicken/greens for $7.99. I guess it's in the vein of Indian interpretations of Chinese cuisine. Really tasty.. very fresh, well cooked, not greasy. I'm looking forward to trying their take-out when it's available next week. I'll try to post a menu. Everest Indian was always a great place for a cheap lunch, and now Everest Hakka is also a great choice, and a little more intriguing to me because I haven't experienced any of the food. Kothur, just down the street is now serving Everest's old menu. More and more options for a good lunch in this neighbourhood.
