Salad House - previously Salad Days- Cumberland Court

I haven't tried any of Jacques' plats du jour lately, but the restaurant is a reasonably priced-for-Yorkville lunch option, and their omelettes are good-for-Toronto. Jacques tends to draw a mostly 60+ crowd. Jacques' $19 Niçoise uses fresh salmon instead of canned tuna. I thought it was decent last time I ordered it for lunch, but that was a few years ago. It was a relatively plain Niçoise, not too much going on in terms of herbs, lemon, etc but I think it did come with the proper small Niçoise olives. http://jacquesbistro.com/Lunch_Menu.html Creme Brasserie has a $21 seared tuna Niçoise http://www.dine.to/menus/menu_6185_document.pdf that I haven't tried. The $13 Nizzarda salad at La Bettola is probably the best Niçoise I've found in TO. http://mobile.labettola.ca/#Menu
