ACon, I'm really glad you posted this and gave us an update here. Good thing, I stumbled on tonight as I haven't browsed this website in quite sometime.
I'm actually very ecstatic about this new Caribbean restaurant and wish I saw this thread before I actually picked up some jerk chicken and a beef roti at Tropical Joe's @Gerrard Square's food court earlier tonight. LOL I live in Leslieville and so it's close by. I would have tried the new Beryl's immediately instead of going to my usual Caribbean place Tropical Joe's in the neighborhood.
Guess, I'll have to wait until this weekend before I taste this new place. Really looking forward to it! I may not be able to wait/resist that long so I'll probably try the jerk pork tomorrow since I already had some roti and jerk chicken earlier tonight. :)
BTW, I just saw the post you left for me on April 2013. Great to hear that you paid a visit to that particular Mr.Jerk franchise after me! ;)
