I've been to a few of these over the years, the last one I did was a couple years ago which was the one that was held the same week as the Canadian Chef's Congress out west so chef attendance was very weak, I think they've learned that lesson and now schedule around it.
It's still a pretty good event but it's not quite what it once was, keeping in mind that it has been around for 20+ years and there was nothing else anything like it back in the day. Now there's competition for the attention of the chefs and the diners from practically dozens of similar events.
I think it's still worth the price (and if you had managed to get in on the early bird tickets an amazing deal).
