Just tried a new place next to IZBA called Tiramisu Pasta & Grill. I have to say I was extremely impressed by the selection and prices on my initial perusing of the menu. Apps range from 6.95 - 12.95 (seafood being the most expensive). Pastas range from 12.95 - 18.95. Mains from 17.95 - 22.95. We were four sharing 2 apps, 3 of us had pastas and 1 had a main, with a bottle of wine and 2 desserts to share, it came to $50/pp with taxes and tip (and we tipped well). The portions were huge and there wasn't a dud among the chosen items except for maybe their namesake dessert. The dessert seems to be sourced out.
The dining room is quite comfortable with a modern aesthetic and there's a very small patio in the front that can seat about 8.
I don't frequent restaurants in the area very much even though I live a couple blocks from this restaurant. I often do takeout and delivery instead. Pizza, sushi, thai and chinese delivery is quite good in the area, in my opinion, however, I have never been happy with any of the pasta delivery places. All that has changed now that Tiramisu is in the hood. They are open 7 days a week and deliver. I asked them how they were doing and they did mention they were quite slow. Please go and check this place out. I don't think you'll be disappointed!
