I read some of the older comments about this place and was surprised. Had never been to this place before and while reading the menu outside Mrs. Poorboy commented that they had Mac`n`Cheese. At the same time a couple were leaving the restaurant and turned around to comment that the Mac;n:cheese was outstanding.
We decided to give it a try and were not disappointed.
There was an impressive selection of wines and beer, which is appropriate for a place promoting themselves as a Gastro Pub.
The MacN`Cheese we ordered was the appetizer size and we had the version that included some spicy in-house made sausage. The menu said that it was soon to be famous and it truly is.
We wern`t that famished so we went with a couple of the smaller dishes.
I had the Prime Rib sandwich with Yukon gold fries (yes they were billed as fresh cut and seemed to be so). The better half had the Steak Wrap.
The portions were quite ample and in fact we were both stuffed.
Our Server was great and she looked after us without being imposing. We will be going back to try the other offerings as the menu has some interesting items.
The ambiance is that of 70`s and 80`s Beatles, Rolling Stones theme throughout.
Another thing to add was that the restaurant looked very clean.
