Finally got around to checking out this place. I've read a lot of positive press and it was featured on "Ya Gotta Eat Here!" Frankly, not sure what the fuss is about. I would give it about 5 of 10 score. There was nothing intrinsically wrong, but nothing particularly good either.
Pulled Pork - was quite tender with a hint of smoke. However, the BBQ sauce was rather bland. There was no particular bite or flavour to it. In fact, if anything, it was on the vinegary side.
Wings - Really did not like them. They were advertised as small fryers that were crispy with a BBQ sauce offering a bold and spicy flavour. Wrong on all counts. The wings were overdone, mushy and I think the BBQ sauce was pretty much the same as that used on the pulled pork. Not a hint of heat.
Sides - Excellent cut fries with the skins on. Vinegar based cole slaw overpowered. Salad looked like it gone through a food processor and had same vinegary look.
If you like acid-based BBQ you may enjoy this place. IMHO this spot could not compare to the now defunct Sweet Smoke in Burlington or the place that was on Lakeshore in Oakvile (whose name I cannot remember).
