I had tese burgers (lifted from the menu)-
Bison ~ Wild at heart
Farm-raised bison seared on our flat top to seal in flavour and tenderness 10.99
Lamb ~ An indulgent choice
Succulent ontario lamb, fresh ground and dusted with our house seasoning 9.99
The patties had been flattened on the griddle whilst frying. It is remarkable how thin you can make a 6oz. burger if you try. Way, way, overcooked; a heavy crust with very little in between. Dry as a bone. They had no taste except from the salt dump, particularly on the lamb.
I sent back the bison patty for less cooking and no salt. Another patty came back the same.
Lots of free toppings, but so little gets put on that they make little impact . Ask for double the amount.
The bun is inoffensive except that it overwhelmed what was in it .
The room is great, the parking ample, the waitresses are buxom .
Everything is great but nothing works. Not again even with a coupon. Still fighting the salt, er, special seasoning.
The place brings out the worst in me.
Is it me? Was this place good until I showed up?
