I think it depends on what you order at most Greek restaurants on the Danforth. Most restaurants do at least a few dishes fairly well.
I haven't eaten at Avli in the last 6 months, but I usually stick to the mezes, the spanakopita and the pies. I haven't been impressed by their fried calamari or their avgolemono soup.
I also wasn't impressed by a recent order of fried calamari at Pantheon, but I did like the grilled octopus, the mixed grill and the moussaka on my second last visit.
I was underwhelmed by a recent visit to the Ouzeri, and even more underwhelmed by a visit to Christina's a couple months ago.
Pan is my current favourite for mezes (Greek share plates). Megas probably serves my favourite pork souvlaki out of the full service restaurant options on the Danforth.
