I suggest you ask a local person early in your drive. When I moved to SW Ontario it took me a year to develop 6 sources at $2./dozen, some enclosed, some outside, in the most unusual places. Now that one of them increased to an astounding $2.25, I still have options!
Incidentally, I needed 2 dozen eggs for a breakfast recently, and bought the Costco-Gray Ridge X-large package, sealed, at $5.29. This avoids the usual mess in the egg display, and all 24 eggs were fine, no cracks.
