Critique my "must try" list for Toronto!

Sabai Sabai - Church & Dundas
KSR is definitely worth the line-up!!

Kingyo Izakaya
have anyone gone yet? I want to know how it is compared to the Vancouver location
↧
Joey's - Eaton Centre
The first time I went I made the mistake of ordering a bellini and got this frozen fake tasting "beverage" that in no way reflected an actual bellini. I suggested that they might want to add "frozen" to the description on the menu. It was one of the worst "beverages" I've ever had.

Grand Electric
I have to stop saying I'll get there, and just go. I've been dying to try it since they opened! Your love of this place is making me want to go even more!

Good Malaysian restaurant downtown on Ossington
good to know. For a first timer of Malaysian cuisine, what other choices of food should I try?

Best AYCE Buffet in Richmond Hill, North York, or Midtown (Started Dec 2012)
I personally still like Yangs at Kennedy and 7 a lot. Lots of complaints about service but I've never had a problem. For dinner, sashimi are thick slices. The rolls (rainbow, spider, black dragon) are good quality compared to other joints. And the cooked foods are also good: beef rolls, steak skewers, squid skewers, charcoal chicken wings and tempura shrimp.
Lots of choices at lunch. Slightly higher price than others but they get you in and out fast. Rarely missed orders.
I've tried Akina, Sushi on 7, Nagoya, Osechi, Maison du Japan and we always go back to Yangs.

Elegance Chinese Cuisine & Banquet
IS it $3 for S/M/L. Cause $3 for SML items only for early bird is not much of a draw to me. Its like regular price.
↧
Cooking classes in Toronto
Absolutely - the con-ed classes are populated almost exclusively with people looking to improve their home cooking skills. I have done several and enjoyed them all and learned in each.

Really Yummy Fried Chicken: Thompson Diner!!
I went to the Thompson Diner for the first time the other night and kept seeing the waiter going by with that fried chicken and it looked soooo good. Also the fish and chips looked amazing. My girlfriend and I had "salads" which were absolutely delicious, mainly because they are full of meat, cheese and fried seafood LOL! http://bit.ly/12z0w8B

Sabai Sabai - Church & Dundas
Not to me, I'd rather go to sukhothai. I dont' know why, maybe bad luck, but I've had a few good experiences at KSR and a few poor ones (slow service, food not quite right, spicyness levels way off), but have always had good experience at sukhothai.
Doesn't make much sense,I know, but I've directed more than a few people to both restaurants who all gave me the same feedback.

staple restaurants young and sheppard area?
Glad you enjoyed it! This type of food is real comfort food to me, and I would guess most others who are dining there. Most things are decent, noodles, fried rice, various other stir fried or fried items. Good sized portions of everything.
One thing I love is the singapore turnip cake...always have to get that!

JaBistro- wow
Had another incredible dinner at JaBistro last night. At this point I believe that Koji San is the true master of sushi in Toronto. The kyokyoku set is full of delicacies and totally worth the $55 price point. They are having their Grand opening on January 1st and will start serving lunch on the 2nd, I was having a discussion with one of the waitresses about the lunch menu and it sounds unique and interesting. looking forward to it, it's one of the most exciting restaurants in Toronto right now in my opinion.

Kingyo is open
