Just had the porchetta sandwich at Sausage King. I loved it initially, when I had it a year ago. Back then, I would have said it was better than Porchetta & Co.
Sadly, today, it was absolute and utter garbage, and a rip off for $6. In the past, it was sliced to order. Now, it's sliced with a slicer and sitting in a steam table, getting an overdone, porky flavor.
Don't waste your money. If you need pork on a bun, just get peameal on a bun from Carousel next door.
